Visiting LA sucks (if you don’t know where to go).

Here are recommendations for accommodations, food, and fun in some of the neighborhoods near the wedding. If it’s your first time visiting, you might want to resist the urge to stay anywhere west of central LA, at least for the night of the wedding. Unfortunately, you probably WILL need to rent a car or rely on Uber (sorry!!)

WHERE TO STAY

  • AIRBNB

Hotel prices are getting crazier by the day, and if you book early enough, there are plenty of great and affordable places to stay in the area.

  • SILVERLAKE POOL & INN

If you’re looking to splurge for convenience, we recommend Silverlake Pool and Inn (it’s 2 blocks from the venue). Guests will have daytime access to the pool, and it’s SUPER walkable. There’s an Erewhon next door. Rooms start around $550.

  • CARA HOTEL

A 12-minute Uber from the venue, Cara is a beautiful boutique hotel in Los Feliz/ Thai Town/ East Hollywood. Rooms start at $300.

  • THE LINE LA

She is modern, she is central, she is reasonably priced. Towering over K-Town, The Line is a 15-minute Uber from the venue (traffic willing). Rooms start around $250.

  • CITIZEN M

Inexpensive and at a good location downtown. Blocks away from Grand Central Market, The Last Bookstore, galleries and museums, Angel’s Flight, Little Tokyo, and more. If you want to give LA public transit a go, Pershing Square Station is a couple blocks away. Prices sit around $180-$250.

  • COMFORT INN

We have never stayed here and it actually looks mildly sketchy, HOWEVER, it is $150-$200 a night, a mile away from the venue, and it’s literally on top of one of our favorite restaurants in the area, Pijja Palace.

  • THE HUNTINGTON LIBRARY

It’s a 30-minute drive east of the venue but if you want to do all of your exploring in one shot, it’s a historic estate with art galleries, themed gardens, and a book museum. Adjacent to Pasadena, which has tons to do and eat.
